Lagos APC Governorship Candidate Hamzat to Unveil 2027 Manifesto October 30th
The Director-General of Hamzat’s campaign council, Musiliu Obanikoro, disclosed this at a news conference in Ikeja, Lagos.

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its governorship candidate, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, will unveil his manifesto for the 2027 election on Friday, October 30.
The Director-General of Hamzat’s campaign council, Musiliu Obanikoro, disclosed this at a news conference in Ikeja, Lagos.
Obanikoro said the event would hold at 3pm at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Arts Theatre, in Iganmu.
He added that the presentation would be broadcast live on television and digital media platforms.
According to him, the campaign would focus on continuity, shared progress and inclusivity, with Hamzat seeking to build on the achievements of previous administrations in the state.
Obanikoro highlighted Hamzat’s experience in the private sector and public service, including his tenure as Lagos State deputy governor since 2019.
He said infrastructure, education, healthcare, business development and youth empowerment would feature among the key areas the candidate intends to address.

Hamzat had earlier outlined policy proposals covering transportation, housing, security and technology at an event organised in collaboration with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry on October 13.
In an earlier interview with Vanguard in July, Hamzat disclosed that his manifesto was about 537 pages long, adding that his team was consulting various groups to identify priorities and develop realistic implementation plans.
“Basically, some of the things we want to do is to even cost it as of today, so that we have a one-year, two-year, three-year plan, realistically,” he said.
Obanikoro further stated that the manifesto would be made available for public download, allowing residents to review the proposals and submit feedback and suggestions.
The planned unveiling comes as political parties prepare for the 2027 Lagos governorship election, with candidates expected to present their plans for addressing the state’s challenges.
