Senate Confirms President Tinubu’s Nominees For Human Rights, Fiscal Responsibility Commissions

The Senate has confirmed President Bola Tinubu’s nominees to the boards of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC).

Those confirmed for the NHRC include Dr Salamatu Hussaini Suleiman as chairman, alongside 10 other members.

For the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, the Senate confirmed Dr Abdullahi Maikano Saidu as executive chairman, alongside six other members representing the country’s six geopolitical zones.

The confirmations followed the submission of the nominees by President Tinubu for consideration and approval.
