President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging members to unite and work towards victory at all levels in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the inauguration in Abuja, Tinubu thanked party members for their efforts so far but emphasised the need for a coordinated campaign to secure electoral success across the country.

He said the party must win at every level, from polling units to wards and states, describing victory as the APC’s only option.

The President also commended Vice President Kashim Shettima for his leadership and contributions to the country, praising his wisdom and dedication to serving Nigerians.

Tinubu further described women as the party’s greatest mobilisers and urged them to intensify their efforts towards securing the APC’s victory in the forthcoming elections.

He expressed confidence that the party’s success would strengthen his administration’s efforts to establish reserved seats for women in legislative bodies, an initiative aimed at increasing women’s representation in elected positions.

On security, the President voiced optimism about the proposed establishment of state police, expressing confidence that the initiative would succeed.

The inauguration marks a significant step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general elections as the ruling party seeks to strengthen its campaign structure and secure another term for Tinubu.
